You can be helped by thinking you are going to win.

Playing A Ranged DPS
You need coin, so get the last hits in on the creep Getting a BF Sword will help in your dps a lot. Extra crit and speed can’t be a bad thing, you can get it from a PD. I like to get as much creep as possible, aim for 100 by 20 mins atleast. Lookout for easy kills and if you need to dive towers and flash out for some extra kills and gold.
Champion Difficulty
They do not require much skill in accurate aiming and do not require large combos to do damage. These chars do not require a large amount of practice to master and are generally quite good for new players or those who want a change and a champ that they can almost pick up and play.
Attack Damage or Spells?
As you generally have a better normal attack than spells, you want to make sure you maximise these to make the best of your abilities.Remember your hit is your ally, continue to damage your opposition and they will fall.
